Our Kid Making His Test Debut

One of our own, Paul Stirling will make his Test debut for Ireland this Friday after the team to face Pakistan was announced earlier this week. For all of us that have played with Paul or watched him grow and develop through our ranks it will be a moment of immense pride but for Paul himself and his family it will be the pinnacle of an already stunning international career.

Approaching 100 ODI appearances at an average of over 35 and nearing 50 T20i’s at a batting average of 25 the destructive opener can now add Test player to his list of achievements.

We wish him all the best for Friday and we just hope the Irish weather allows this historic match to be a fantastic platform for Irish cricket on the world stage.
